ZIM has officially resumed operations in Ukraine by reactivating the LBX service, restoring the direct and exclusive connection between Ukraine and Israel, while providing fast access to ZIMโs global network.
The first voyage will be performed by ZIM Australia (AU6) 221, calling Pivdennyi Port on December 2, 2025.
LBX is operated independently via the DP World TIS Pivdennyi Terminal โ a strategic location with modern port infrastructure and large storage capacity, capable of handling a wide range of cargoes including reefers, oil, timber, grains, food, used vehicles, and containerized goods.
๐ข LBX is currently the only direct service between Ukraine and Israel, offering a 6-day transit time from Haifa to Ukraine.
From the transshipment hubs of Haifa and Piraeus, cargo connects seamlessly to ZIMโs major global services:
– ZMP โ Far East โ Haifa
– ZCA โ Atlantic & Americas โ Haifa
– ZCA Export โ Piraeus โข Atlantic & Americas
The reactivation of LBX marks a strong comeback for ZIM in the Ukrainian market, providing shippers with a reliable ocean freight solution and reinforcing Ukraineโs position in global trade.
